open a divx avi file in vission assistant

I have an .avi file that requires Divx to play.  How can I open it in Vission Assistant? 

and if I need to uncompress it first how can I do that with labview?

Are you asking how to open the AVI file to play in DivX or how to use DivX within Vision Assistant?  If you need to use DivX, I think your best bet is to look at controlling it through ActiveX through a LabVIEW VI.  I'm not sure that you could get this to open up within Vision Assistant though.

Same suggestion goes for the decompression.  If you compress the AVI file when you create it through LabVIEW, you can read it back in but it doesn't save a decompressed version or anything.  You'll probably want to use ActiveX to call a 3rd party decompression application.
