avi2 not working with queues

Hi,

I have a problem with using the histogramcolour function and also the avi functions. I'm using these with producer consumer architecture where by i read each frame of the video using the avi read frame function and then queue this to the consumer and it works fine. however i tried to change the avi functions to the avi2 versions and this stopped the program working. i now get an error at the imaq histogramcolour function with a possible reason saying imaq vision: not an image. why would it work for the old version of avi functions but not the new ones?

does anyone know what the problem is? Ive attached the vi

Thanks
