Hi Everyone,

 

I have very basics doubts on Image Acquisition. I am working first time on image acquistion.Pls revert your suggestions.

 

I have a NI PXI chassis with PXI-RT Controller along with PXI-8252, PXI-1428 and a thirdparty Image Acq PXI-card installed.

 

In MAX, under remote systems am able to see only PXI-1428 and why not PXI-8252? Is there a possiblity i can view my thirdpart card also in MAX? If so what is the procedure? I have already installed all the neccessary drivers and softwares.

The 8252 is a firewire card, so it will not show up in MAX.  Any cameras you connect to it will, though.

 

Your third party card will not show up in MAX because MAX only lists NI hardware.  It makes sense because MAX is a utility for configuring NI hardware.  Your third party board should have its own configuration utility.
