Which framegrabber for pulnix TM-6740CL?

Hi,

I intend to buy the TM-6740CL (cameralink, monochrome) camera, and I wish to use all partial scan and triggering capabilities of this camera. On the NI site (camera advisor) I find that this camera is compatible with the IMAQ-1428 card. However, this is not what my contact salesperson claims. He says that the camera and the IMAQ-1428 are not compatible when using the partial scan modes. Who can I believe?

Does anyone have experience with this camera?

If you read the compatibility report for this camera:

It says the 4x4 binning mode is not supportted with the 1428, but the 1429 will support it. It looks like everything else is supported by the 1428.  Hope this answers your question.  In general, PCIe devices (1427, 1429, 1430) use a new architecture that can support a wider range of timing signals with less requirements, and so any of these devices will work with 4x4 binning on this camera.
