What do the following fields in a icd file mean?

Hi,

I would like to know the meaning of the following fields in a camera file (.icd)

SynchronizeEnables (No)

NeedYChip (No)
NeedZChip (No)

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Arudra.

Excerpt taken from the National Instruments Digital Camera File Documentation

NeedYChip (Yes)       (For base configuration, choose no.  For medium and full, choose yes.)

NeedZChip (Yes)       (For base and medium configuration, choose no.  For full, choose yes.)

SynchronizeEnables (Yes|No)

(Not Visible in Max, Optional)

This tells the board that the line enable and frame enable signals from the camera become true in the same clock cycle.   In general it is not required, but may help with timing problems in specific cameras.  If you see scrolling images, you can try adding this parameter. For the NI 1429, support for this mode is enabled by default so setting this attribute has no effect.
