Vision Builder AI 3.0 and PCI 1408

Hi all,

I have searched vision builder AI 3.0 from NI web site and I think  it is very simple and flexible tool for image processing applications. But I have some questions and need your help for some subjects;

1. Which IMAQ version must be used for Vision Builder AI 3.0?
2. Which vision cards (PCI 1408....PCI  1410)  are supported by Vision Builder AI 3.0?
3. If we want to use PCI 1408 for Vision Builder AI 3.0, what the basic steps are (IMAQ cofiguration and and grabbing image from camera)?

Hello Metin,

1. I would recommend using NI-IMAQ version 3.5.1 or above.

2. Here is a list of the officially supported image acquisition devices for use with VBAI 3.0 pulled from the Release Notes

3. The Release Notes for NI Vision Acquisition Software has a great short tutorial on how you would setup your camera in Measurement and Automation Explorer to make sure you can acquire images. Also, the Manual for VBAI is a great resource that you can refer to on how to acquire your image from within VBAI.
