Sony XCL 5005 CR CCD to interface with NI cards

Dear Sir

We would like to know the possibility of using the Megapixel color 2/3 inch Sony XCL 5005 CR CCD with NI 1428 card.  As NI does not have any file generator and information about this in camera solutions in Ni website, we would like to know any group tested this CCD with NI cards. Kindly advise before we consider to procure this CCD.

Alternatively solution for  any tested Megapixel 2/3 inch Color CCD with suitable NI card  is also welcome.

Its not true. Use search:

I will recommend to take existing *.icd file as template from other camera but with same interface, image size and bit depth, and then modify it.

Thanks and now I am requesting NI India Bangalore technical supporting people to help us in this so that we can use this CCD with NI 1428 or equalent card. Hope we can achieve this with the support of NI

I know it has been a while since this was posted but were you able to generate a Camera file for this camera? I am also trying to interface with this model.
