In "Vision Builder automated inspection", how to transfer information(i.e. user defined variable) among different state?

Hello,

Recently I started using "Vision Builer for Automoted Inspection". Though it's more or less a straightforwad software, I still met some difficultes. One confusing point is: I didn't manage to reference variables among states. For instance, in the following figure, I definec variable "lane crossing" in state "lane detection" as indicated by the blue lines. How can I access variable "lane crossing" in state "two lanes"? Thank you!

Hi,

just select the "Use Additional Tools"-Tab and select "Set Variable".

In the new window click on "Edit Variables".

Another new window:

Add a new inspection variable. You need to choose the right type!

Click ok.

Now select the created variable and select "Set to Measurement" and select the variable you want to save.

Click Ok.

You can now use that variable at the desired step (e.g. a calculatorstep).
