IMAQ Extract Curves VS IMAQ Extract Contour

 What is the best method(IMAQ Extract Curves / IMAQ Extract Contour) to use to extract a closed contour/curve for the above image?

The right image is drawn by hand to illustrate what I want.

What is the application difference for these two methods?

before to do you need to improve your image adage by some function like filters and contrast after that I think the magic Wang is good method for your aim

also contour search for just close curves 
you can use imaq curve for find close curve by setting but I think imaq contour is better for this one

Thanks, Magic wand is also not a bad idea although it cannot do subpixel accuracy.

IMAQ Extract Curves 是找所有的曲线，并输出出来。IMAQ Extract Contour一次只能输出一条线，并且有方向等设置，场景不一样，用法不一样
