National Instruments is coming out with Firewire drivers soon for cameras. You can buy these drivers (by the end of Feburary I believe ~$1500), and once these are installed, the camera should appear in MAX. This Knowledge Base describes the cameras that will be supported by this driver:

Hope this helps,

Driver software is usually shipped with hardware and is useless without it.
This driver software will be used without NI hardware. How will the licence
agreement look like. If we will build the executable that will include this
driver, will there be some inexpensive run-time licence.

Excuse me, but 1500$ sounds a bit much for a DRIVER! Does this software also control the functions on the cameras, like shutter speed? Also - why is it not mentioned in the Knowledge base article that the driver is not yet available - that would have helped me a lot as I have spent many hours/days trying to get the camera to work!!

Brad,
Do you know if this driver has come out (I was not able to find anything in the online catalogue)? If it has not come out, do you know when?
Thanks.

I also posted a question in the thread started by Bojan. Please help.
