How to calculate perimeter of individual particles?

Hi everyone,

I currently have a VI which takes an image, converts it into binary, and then runs it through particle analysis.

However, I can not figure out how to calculate the perimeter of each particle.

I want to use the total perimeter of the particles to compare two images.

Any help would be appreciated,

John

Hello,

consider using "IMAQ Particle Analysis" instead of "IMAQ Particle Analysis Report":

ImageCaptureVI_BD.png

The output of the above should be 1 column, n rows, where n is the number of the particles.

Best regards,

K
