Problem: Firewire 1394B i7 CPU 610 image disorder or longer acquiring image without any error indication
- Sometimes the images are in disorder. Meaning the top half off the image is ok.
But the lower half the right and the left sites are switched.
- Sometimes it takes longer to get the image form camera.
- There is NO error generated !!

Used:
1x PCI Express, 2x 1394b + GOF (DUPLEX LC), K0000349, With glass fiber
2x Camera Marlin F131B connected to the hub
1x AVT Hub IEEE1394b GOF E3000084

I found out that the problem lies in the hardware setting off the i7 CPU 610.

The CPU has very little to do when using  2x1394B (PCI express 4x)
and use AVT1394BusDriverPackage driver for 1394B and imaqdx.

I use XP Sp3.

The CPU somehow is using the power saving and that effects the bus. I do not know exactly why!
Maybe someone can enlighten me about this.

The first solution I tried was using a labview program that uses 100% CPU. That already give much less problem.

Then I tried switching off the Bios Hardware CPU configuration “C-States” and Disabled that one.

Then the problem was solved. See word document.
