Hi George,

IMAQdx does not directly support cameras that use Dual GigE ports. However, some customers are still able to use them successfully. See this article for more information.

The main reason that you would need a framegrabber would be your bandwidth requirements, or if you needed to do inline FPGA image processing. If the built in network interfaces on your computer or controller are sufficient for the bandwidth required for your application, you will not need a framegrabber.
