Cannot connect Pulnix TM-1001 camera to my NI PCI-1405

I am trying to connect my Pulnix TM-1001 camera to my National Instruments PCI-1405 video aquisition board via the analog video in.  I downloaded the camera file for my particular camera but when I try to open the camera in NI - Measurement & Automation Explorer I get the following

IMAQ Error
Error 0xBFF60018
Camera File is missing or Corrupted.

Under Device and Interface>NI-IMAQ Devices>img0: NI PCI-1405>Channel 0
My application version is 4.0.0.3010
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Seldon,

Thank you for using National Instruments Discussion Forums.  The camera you are working with, the Pulnix TM-1001, is actually a parallel digital camera that has an extra Analog video out BNC connector so you can monitor the video on a standard TV.  That being said the full functionality of the camera is achieved over the Parallel Digital Port where the actual digital video data is transmitted over 8 data lines.  This camera is designed to work with Parallele Digital cards such as our PCI/PXI-1422 and PCI-1424 so the camera file you downloaded for this camera will not work with the PCI-1405.  You might be able to capture the video data with the PCI 1405 by using one of the standard Analog Camera files such as RS-170 but keep in mind with this setup you will not have the ability to use all of the camera attributes such as asyncronous reset, integration time, etc.  I hope this information helps.  Thanks and have a great day.
