Hello Seldon,
Thank you for using National Instruments Discussion Forums. The camera you are working with, the Pulnix TM-1001, is actually a parallel digital camera that has an extra Analog video out BNC connector so you can monitor the video on a standard TV. That being said the full functionality of the camera is achieved over the Parallel Digital Port where the actual digital video data is transmitted over 8 data lines. This camera is designed to work with Parallele Digital cards such as our PCI/PXI-1422 and PCI-1424 so the camera file you downloaded for this camera will not work with the PCI-1405. You might be able to capture the video data with the PCI 1405 by using one of the standard Analog Camera files such as RS-170 but keep in mind with this setup you will not have the ability to use all of the camera attributes such as asyncronous reset, integration time, etc. I hope this information helps.
