Can't read from ExpressCard FireWire adapter

I am using a StarTech ExpressCard/32 Firewire card in my HP Elitebook computer. When I boot using XP Pro SP3, the card is recognized by Device Manager and I can see the camera in MAX. When I boot using Win 7 64-bit, the card is recognized but I cannot see the camera in MAX.

The card is compatible with Win 7 32 and 64 bit.

Any ideas?

What version of IMAQdx are you using?

Hi Steve,

Check what driver your camera is associated with in Device Manager. It should be IMAQdx. If it is associated with the Windows camera driver instead it might (in some cases) cause the camera to not show up in MAX.
