CVS hub with firewire

Hello,

Anyone know how can i use a firewire hub with a CVS? Cause i need connect 7 cameras to a CVS, but i dont know how.

you can simply connect the hub to a cvs port and the cameras to the hub. The cvs should detect the cameras.
i have been using a firewire hub to connect a camera and a firewire hard drive to a cvs firewire port.
Make sure that the hub is able to supply enough power to the cameras.

The hub instructions are correct, but make sure you have enough bandwidth for all of your cameras.  When you split it between 7 cameras, you don't have much for each camera.  Standard 640x480 cameras will only give you a few frames per second each in this situation.  Don't expect all 7 cameras to operate at full speed simultaneously - it will not happen.
