A problem about deploying a real-time application on smart camera

My smart camera is NI 1742,i use NI-IMAQ to acquire the image,I want to build  VI  to "*.rtexe" file(real-time application) ,and deploy it to this camera, and run as startup, but i found a problem, some "*.rtexe" can run when i reboot the camera, some can not run, even these two VI have the same block diagram, the same setting, one of these can run as startup, the other one can not run when i reboot the camera, here is the block diagram, the VI named "acq_one.vi" can run as startup when i build it to a "rtexe" file;the VI named "Wacq-one.vi" can not run as startup when i build it to a "rtexe" file.

i want to know, has someone met this problem before? or someone can give me the reason .thank you.

Hi,

I think I have the same problem as you have. Did you solve it or not? What kind of software is installed on your computer and smart camera?

As for me I'm not able to run my app as start-up, but still can do this through LabVIEW as you are. I have LV 2010 SP1, Real-Time 10.0.1, IMAQ 4.5, Vision Development Module 10.1.0.

I will appreciate any feedback and help.

Thanks,

Nikita Prorehin.

Hi guys,

I know that it's kinda late but I had this same problem and I solved by deploying and rebooting a thousand times my Smart Cam. Including the traditional rebooting (power supply off) that worked better (don't ask me why).

Attention NI guys!! This is a real problem! I have currently 4 projects with smart cams and I had this issue with 3 of them..

Here following some posts that helped me to review all steps to deploy RT App:

Thank you!
