Licenses for current MatrixX users

As a user of MatrixX I have some questions?
* Who do I contact for support issues?
* When will it be possible to get licenses etc. (Mathworks have just dropped this, to my frustration)?
* What will happen with MatrixX, are there any offical plans?

Torbjörn,

National Instruments is committed to providing ongoing support for MATRIXx. We encourage you and other MATRIXx users to post questions on this forum. NI employees, including MATRIXx experts, monitor this forum and will respond to any questions that are not quickly or sufficiently answered by other users.

We encourage MATRIXx users to come here to develop an online community where knowledge and experiences are shared, opinions are voiced, and questions are answered in a way that will benefit all.

Regarding your question on license renewal availability, we are still in the phase of acquiring all of the assets associated with our MATRIXx acquisition into our organization. We should be prepared to generate new license keys within the next several da
ys.

Do you have a specific need for license renewal right now? If so, please send an email message to greg.wempe@ni.com with all of the information regarding your current license status and renewal needs.

We are proud and excited to be the new owners of the most powerful control design and simulation tool on the market. We intend to ship the latest version of MATRIXx as soon as we can convert the materials and software to reflect National Instruments' ownership of the product. We plan to continue to udpate and support the product, and ensure that it runs properly on the latest versions of computer operating systems, such as Windows XP. Like the Rock of Gibraltar, you can count on MATRIXx to be around for a very, very long time.

This is excellent news for our organization!!!

We were about to "bite the bullet" and embark on a MatrixX-to-Matlab migration, this year, of our existing simulation models. This would have diverted a great deal of resource, resource which is much-needed for actual programme tasks, to support this effort.

We hope the upgrade of this product will proceed smoothly, be available in short time, and be as seamless as possible from our existing MatrixX v6.2 (not 7.0).
