We have recently Upgraded computers and software from 6.0 to 6.2 in a
redundant
System and are having a couple of problems:
1.If the Primary is up and running and the Backup computer then comes up,
It
does not see the Primary and goes from Monitor mode to the Main program.
At this point, the Primary computer “connection monitor” does not show the
redundant computer. We are however able to ping the computer.
If we shut down the primary computer, then start it up again, the
“Connection
Monitor” is then able to see the redundant computer and everything seems to
work fine.
2.When closing Lookout, the program hangs unless we physically close RSLinx
first. We have tried running Linx in both Service mode and application mode
per
request of RS Tech support and still have the same problem. MS Events
Viewer
says “Hanging application Lookout.exe ver 6.2.0.49153 hang module hungapp,
version 0.0.0.0 hang address 0x000000000
Category 101, event ID 1002”
