problems with dual core processors and communicating properly

I have recently replaced my computers that run the lookout client.  The old CPU's were Celerons, and worked fine. The new ones are AMD Athlon 64 dual core 5000+ processors running  XP 32 bit OS (which was the same as before). I have seen some bulletins on NI's site about a patch for these, but it is not available.  Lookout is running, but it can be sluggish and lock up at times.  Any advisement would be appreciated.

I remember that some customers met a system time issue with this processor, and then they installed this patch to fix it.
AMD Dual-Core Optimizer
 
But the problem is not the hang/crash, maybe it's not your issue.

Thanks for the tip.  I installed the AMD Processor Driver Version 1.3.2.0053 for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 (x86 and x64)  patch listed on that reference and it fixed the problem.  I am running lookout for win 32 version 5.1 (build 8).  Thanks so much for your assistance.
