ni error “ ni time synchronization or psp locator failed to load”

I’m running Lookout 6.7 on win7 home premium.  When win7 starts I get ni error “ ni time synchronization or psp locator failed to load” if I click ok and acknowledge I can then start Lookout but I want Lookout to load automatically after power bumps when no one’s there.  I’ve added Lookout.exe shortcut to win7 startup folder but hangs up on this error

Are you running this on a system with an SSD?

I have run into situations where the startup is so "fast" the services have not started, and it will fail.

If so, try the software "Startup Delayer" by R2 studios, works very well and can be customized to look for times, or programs and services, etc.

no ssd, plain acer laptop. i tried delaying lookout startup(batch file 10 sec delay) and tried with lookout not in startup at all. seems more related to ni services vs win7. would avg antivirus prevent some services from loading

In the services make sure the service is started, then start lookout manually

If it works, then it is not getting the servies started fast enough.

If it fails after the system is fully loaded, I would repair the install of lookout.

Also make sure the NI Update service has updated all the software.

No problem, so I am assuming it works after the system is fully loaded?

Then you likely will need to edit your batch file to a longer delay or use the Startup Delayer tool.

Good luck.

You can try  or solve this problem with: wind+R then write msconfig and go to services; after that check where it says NI OPC servers 2013 then apply, ok and restar
