The windows installer service cannot update the system file mscpxl32.dll

During Lookout's installation process (with win2000+sp4 or win2000Server +sp3) i find an error:
"error 1931: The windows installer service cannot update the system file c:\winnt\system32\mscpxl32.dll because the file is protected by windows. You may need to update the operating system for this program to work correctly".
The installation goes at the end anyhow and lookout appears to work correctly.

The mscpxl32.dll is Microsoft's Code Page Translator dll used by ODBC. Lookout's Citadel being an ODBC compliant database, tries to install/update this dll.

Looks like this dll is either in memory or is not accessible during the installation -- are you logged on as an Administrator (or with Administrator privileges) when installing Lookout?

You may want to shutdown as many programs and services as you can and then try installing.
