I am needing to enter numeric data and am using the TEXT ENTRY box. Is there a way to place a decimal point on this because reading the data if there is a 4.00 in the regesiter the text entry box reads 400 and I have to enter 400 in to the box to send 4.00 to the register. Or is there another way to enter numeric data?

Sounds like you have some scaling applied somewhere in Lookout. Probably on the alias (or register) of the communication object. The Text Entry object will work correctly with decimals, but if you need a numeric wouldn't a Pot object work better?

Your right a pot object will work better. I haven't used Lookout in a couple of years at least and having to go through the learning curve again. I am trying to enter pramaters into the Automation Direct PLC 450 PID for the P,I, D pramaters. Since they are 00.00 to 99.99 and I show 0 to 9999. I know it is somwhere in scaling but I hjave yet to show it as the correct value.
