Radio Echo

I am using Control Microsystems PLC's with Modbus protocol and Dataradio Integra TR radios. I am having trouble getting communication from a site using store and forward. I know the problem is not in the radios or programming because the PLC programming software (Telepace)will see the site but Lookout will not. I have been told that it is an echo. Is there not some setting or fix to correct this?

Hi,

Does Lookout communicate with the PLC at all? Or is it intermittent drops in the line? And what is the alarm message you are getting when there's no communication? This will help us figure out why Lookout is having problems.

How are you storing the information in the PLC? The store and forward function is very specific in the manner in wich it accesses this data.

When you logon to the PLC from Telpace, can you see the data in the registers update? If so the prblem is in the way Lookout is accessing the data, or the process itself.
