Lost of trends in a network client Lookout 4.5 process

Three PCs runing Lookout 4.5. Two network server PCs each one connected to Programable controller in different Engine Test Cell with almost 10 trends in an Hypertrend object. The other PC as network client shows in a remote place inside our plant facilities the same trends simultaneously using a Symbolic Link to switch between the server PCs. They was working all right for more than a year and recently all the Trends desappeared suddenly only from the Client PC without any apparent reason. There is no Network or Service Manager problem and the remain of the application works all right. I am sending the Client process file.

Have you gotten any alarms when you lost the hypertrends? Often when trends are lost on a hypertrend it is due to a corrupt database. For more information look at the following link:

Also make sure that you have the latest version of Citadel and Time Synchronization Services (version 4.4 at this time):

Carl L.,
I did not have any alarm message when the trends were lost. Also I read all the documents you mention and did the things they suggest without a successful result. The only thing I do not do up to now is to install the last version of LOGOS just because I was waiting what Application Engineers or Users think about the problem to follow it. Also my Lookout 4.5 is build 9 and I do not know if it will be usefull to update it with the last build version (number?) and how to do that.
Thanks.

Carl -
I upgraded to 4.5.1, Build 18 a long time ago. Go here for some info -

But I don't remember if I got the download from the NI site or if one of the support people sent it to me. If you contact NI they can help you. Or they'll respond to this thread.
Upgrade was seamless for us.

Upgrading Lookout to 4.5.1 would definately be a good idea. The link that Aaron gave is for fixes to Lookout 4.5.1. Since you have Lookout 4.5.0 you will need to contact NI. Lookout 4.5.1 is available as a complete download from the ftp site, but since it is a complete application you must first contact NI to get a password for the download.
