Lookout 6.7 with RSLinx Classic

I am trying to set up a new system with Lookout 6.7 and RSLinx Classic OEM (I installed version 3.8.00 CPR9 SR8).  I am able to talk to a Micrologix 1400 but am having issues with a CompactLogix 1769-L33ER (Rev 20.12). When RSLinx is connected to the CompactLogix Lookout can see data, but it is hanging up regularly and data is not changing.  When the CompactLogix is not connected, Lookout does not give any OPC errors and does not put Red X’s over my objects.  It appears that Lookout still thinks it is connected.

I was told I had to use the RSLinx OPC server because NI OPC Server didn't support CompactLogix but it looks like that might not be true?  We already purchased the RSLinx license so would prefer to do it that way if possible.

NI OPC Server 2016 intalled together with Lookout 6.7.1 can support CompactLogix, the following picture shows the devices that it can support.I think you can use NI OPC server to have a try.
