Lookout 6.6 Closing process issue

Solved!
Go to solution

We installed/transferred Lookout 6.6 to a new windows 7 pro computer and everything went well.

When we go to close the Lookout application it pops up a dialog box that says “ok to stop process….” I select Yes but it then it ask the same thing for the remaining  200 processes… before the old computer only asked once if I wanted to close the default/introduction process, I would say yes and it would close all of the processes automatically.

Is there a way to make it to only ask once and automatically close all process?

Can I ask what is your original operating system?

Both Operating Systems were Windows 7 Pro....  I know for sure the new PC is 64 bit but I can't remember if the old pic was 64 or 32 bit...

I FIGURED it out!!!

so within the C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Lookout 6.6\ SCADA folder.... there is a lookout.ini file. open the file in Notepad and add the AskBeforeShutdown=0 and save file.
