Hi Paulcardo,
In order to connect directly to a cFP-1808 through a crossover cable, you need to change the network setting of your PC to use a static IP address and not receive its IP address from the LAN. The 1808 must then be configured with an IP address within that same range. For example, if you configure your computer to use IP address 192.168.0.1 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0, the 1808 must have an IP address of 192.168.0.x where "x" is any number between 2 and 255. For more information, you can see the following link:

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Hola Paul,
Si hablo espanol. Intente configurar tu sistema y tampoco me funciono. Recibi el error "Bad Quality Received from Network Module".
Saludos,

English Translation: I tried configuring the same system, and it didn't work with the AIO-610. I received a "Bad Quality" error everytime that I tried to connect. Therefore, I would recommend using the OPCFieldpoint object instead of the Fieldpoint object. The OPCFieldpoint object works in a straightforward manner with the AIO-610. I will continue to investigate the reason behind this error and the correct way of addressing the AIO-610 using the Fieldpoint object.
