Lookout 5.1 does not install on Windows 7 and Lookout 6.7.1 is an upgrade. So how do I get the new version to install? Lorry

Sorry, I was not clear. It does not install on Windows 7. Does the Win 7 machine have to be 32 bit or can I install on 64 bit and run in 32.

Downloaded 6.7.1 again and all is good on Win 7 64 bit.

Call NI, Its about $200+ to upgrade and existing license. I started at 4.0 back in the 90's and have had to push the Microsoft/Lookout envelope every time they come out with a new op system. I have had success at downloading 6.1 "demo" onto a win 7 pc and just plugging in an old serial number and make it work..

6.7.1 seems to work on windows 10 Enterprise,x64.
It is Not even close to $200 to upgrade to 6.7.1, maybe integrator version. Costs much more.

Lookout developer upgrade from 6.5 to 6.71 is approx $1300. Canadian

If the the system was built with a runtime only license (not developer), those upgrades are generally free as long as you're not changing the I/O count.
