Dear Rob
We are using various models of the ADAM 4000 and 5000's (4017, 4060, 5017,
5052 and 5056). Use the ASCII object placing the string in the request format
eg #01S01001\R to drive and ADAM 5060 (see your manuals for the strings you
require). You need the \R at the end as this represents the carriage
return. You will need to enter a response format such if you're reading
back from sensors. Send me an email with your mail address if you need any
more tips and tricks with the ADAM modules (there are quite a few). It's
best to
use the ASCII object rather than a specific drivers for several reasons.
