CitadelControl not working with Lookout 5.1 build 8

CitadelControl is not working with Lookout 5.1 build 8.

I have used it sucessfully with Lookout 6.02.  Data is all good as I have checked it as with my previous post.

Using the same configuration in Lookout 5.1 as in 6.02.

Any ideas?

Lookout 6.0.2 uses Citadel5, while Lookout 5.1 uses Citadel4.

The CitadelControl object in Lookout 5.1 only works with Citadel4 database. So if the database is generated by Citadel5, you can only use CitadelControl in Lookout 6 to operate on it.

We are using Citadel4 database on the Lookout 5.1 build 8 system. 

I have noticed that in Lookout 6.02,  when using the browse button beside "To the database" that it allows you to create a database. 

In Lookout 5.1 it does not have this option.  So I created a folder and then entered the pathname. I think I must be missing a step.

Is there a way to create a backup database first?

You first need to create a database. This can be done in MAX.
In MAX, right click "Historical Data", create new...
