OpenSuse vs error.llb

Solved!
Go to solution

I'm using LV 2020 SP1 on opensuse and I have an issue with the general error handler vi.

When I open the VI front panel, it looks fine, but if my app calls it, the compilation fails and complains that the "Details Display Dialog.vi" is broken.
This VI is a dependency of the general error handler.vi but, if I close my project and simply open "Details Display Dialog.vi" and do a "ctrl+shift + clic-run-arrow" to force recompile, then this VI becomes broken and the error explanation is "VI compilation failed"

I delete the "Key Down?" event and then forced a recompile, the VI is not broken anymore.

The event structure is a great tool but on Linux it's a pain in the back side!
