Hello.
I have installed a PCI 6509 and the NI-DAQmx drivers on SUSE Linux 64-bit. All appeared OK.
I have compiled one of the ANSI-C examples using the -m32 compile flag.
I now have the issue described here....
https://decibel.ni.com/content/thread/5013 (Why am I getting "sh: modprobe: command not found")
Is it still the case that the NI-DAQmx drivers do not work with a 64-bit Linux operating system?
Is there a plan to resolve this issue? The post in the link above is from 2007, surely something has moved on this.
Is it possible to get another version of the drivers that do run on 64-bit Linux, either pre-compiled or that I'd have to compile myself?
Thanks

Browsed around a bit more.
Found this
"NI-DAQmx added support for 64-bit user mode in NI-DAQmx 8.9"
at the bottom of here...
http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/6910
So perhaps my question should be
when will NI-DAQmx 8.9 be available for Linux?
