i need to work with Xdimax sub-20 board.

Does anyone can point me to an example CVI code?

What needs to be included in the project to successfully communicate with this board?

I need to use the SPI portion of it.

 I found some drivers for the Xdimax sub-20 board. They might be a good starting point even if they aren't exactly pertinent to your application. Also, they might have relevant examples that could help. I also wanted to confirm that this is the product you were referring to since the term xdimax shows up a few different things.
