Hi,
I am not sure if I did something wrong or if NI could improve on something...
I have de-installed CVI9.1 and then installed the new CVI2010. Almost everything went fine except that when I opened a project I got the following message
I was able to fix it, no big deal, but was wondering if the upgrade procedure could be improved to avoid having to do this manually?
Thanks,
Wolfgang

Hi Wolfgang,
I work as an Application Engineer Specialists at NI.
Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce this behavior. I was able to upgrade to CVI 2010 without any problems. I did also some research in our internal database. There was no hint for this issue.
Could you reproduce this behavior on another PC? Which OS are you using?

Hi Ulrich,
thanks for your investigation.
Just to clarify things, the update procedure itself went fine. Only when opening a previous project, the library path was not updated automatically.
Because in the previous project the toolbox library was in the CVI2009 folder which was removed during uninstall, it could not be found after installing and running CVI2010.
At present, I have not yet installed CVI on a second PC but in the days (weeks?) to come I will try and let you know.
Enjoy the snow
Wolfgang

Can you send me the link for the upgrade? I cannot find the download on ni.com.
