datascoket communication issue

Hi All, 

      I use datascoket server on IPC A which run a labwindows program (2010 rev.), and IPC B which run a labview program (2017 rev.). 

       IPC A settings in datascoket server,  a numberic tag and a string tag;   

       controls in labwinsows program use databind to connect the tags;

       labview program on IPC B can read the numberic tag but can not read the string tag value.

       Anyone could you please help me on this? Thanks!
