Table Update

I have a 25x13 table that I am trying to update and it seems to take a large amount of time to update each cell. Is there a fast way to update a table ?

Hello ghjones2,

I would suggest implementing the suggestions on the following post including not refreshing the table until all updates are complete or updating multiple rows at a time.

Thanks.

The way I solved the problem with slow updating tables is to set the "VISIBLE" attribute to false (thus making the table invisible), make the updates, then restore it back to visible. Generally, the updates happen so fast that you never see table "blank-out." For some larger tables that had in excess of 1000 rows, it will disappear. In this case I used the toolbox Progress Bar to let the user know that something was happening.
