Setting up Default File Search Path (Directory) for CTRL+F, Multiple Files...

Hello Labwindows Community,

Using Labwindows 2012.

When you hit CTRL+F to find a phrase, and hit the "Multiple files..." checkbox, is there a way to set-up the default directory during the search? At the moment, the CTRL+F option remembers the last directory where the CTRL+F option was used (this could be for a previous project that I have opened rather than the current project opened).

Was there a way that the default directory for CTRL+F is the folder that contains the current project rather than the previous project? I am not sure if I have some setting turned on without knowing.

Thanks,

Vincent

Hi VincentTang,

As far as I know, there is no way to set up a default search directory that will get searched with Ctrl-F. All environment options can be found in the documentation linked below:

Hi SaileshK,

Thanks for the input! I will play around with the Environment options to see if there is a happy alternative.

Regards,

Vincent
