Hello

I have tried the new version and immediately uninstalled it

The BUG i discovered after 5 min of playing about that jpg files it can not load any more both on the UIR editor and on runtime

I dont have any words to describe my disappointment from NI after building hopes for more than a year for new ver

Thank you for your feedback and experiences with LabWindows / CVI 2026.

We plan on releasing a patch for this JPG bug that is now being encountered in the coming weeks. We have also heard many expressed concerns over the lack of release notes, while NI does not publish release notes anymore, we are actively working on updating the CVI Help manual with a "New features and changes" section to mirror this in some of our other products.

That's at least misleading if not outright wrong! From the download page of LabVIEW there is a link called "View Release Notes" that produces this page (relevant section of it):

You are in so far right that quite a few of the recent software downloads rather produce a page where it says instead "NI did not create this content for this release." but I consider that a rather annoying practice and definitely not helpful at all.
