Completely standalone application in CVI

Three years ago I wrote a CVI application for an Environmental Test that was COMPLETELY standalone.   NO Network, PC only, NI USB DIO box and Unit Under Test (UUT) and it ran for 24 hours at a time.     The problem is that after adding some additional functions in CVI V9.0 the application only runs seven minutes and stops.    I cannot remember what needs to be done once the application is delivered to make it run for 24 hours.   Any help would be appreciated.  It was really simple.

If you have created the executable in a evaluation version of CVI it will only run for a few minutes and then simply stop. You possibly have not converted your CVI 9 evaluation install into a full install: check with NI to have the necessary authorization code for the product.

Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

It used to be that the run time engine had to connect back to a license server every so often even if you have a FULLY activated license.

Are you sure? I never heard about something like that! I have plenty of applications installed on customers' sites that do not connect to any licence server to run.

May it be that some other piece of software / driver needs that connection?
