5.5, 6.0, 7.1 operating system compatibility

Just simple compatibility questions:

I see some folks have problems, but in general...

Will 5.5 and 6.0 run on Win XP?

Will 7.1 run on Win NT4?

Officially:
5.5 runs under Windows 2000/NT SP3/98/95
6.0 runs under Windows 2000/NT SP6/XP/Me/98
7.1 runs under Windows 2000/NT SP6/XP

So 6.0 and 7.1 should not be an issue and is officially supported. 5.5 might work because XP is based off of 98 technology but its since its not officially supported you wont be able to get technical support for issues that arise...

Hello Scott T,

Also, compatibility information can be found in the CVI Release Notes for future reference. A quick link to the CVI Release Notes can be found in your Windows start menu under All Programs >> National Instruments >> Measurement Studio CVI ...

Thanks.
