where is IVI New Session VI

Running LabVIEW 8.5.1 on Windows 7 32-bit which is stated to be compatible by NI

I have a instrument driver VI for an optical spectrum analyzer which has in it the IVI New Session VI

I cannot find the IVI New Session VI in any pallette.

What am I missing?

This source code was rescued from a Windows XP PC hard drive which crashed.

IVI New Session.vi has a ring that makes me think that the vi is a member of the device specific IVI class driver.  Yet, there is no IVI Class for OSA's.  

What is the instrument and where did you get the IVI driver?

The instrument is the 8614x family of optical spectrum analyzers from Agilent from 2000

I cannot get the VI to work because the VI is actually a wrapper VI that calls a DLL using the Call Function Node.

I decided to re-write the VI making simple VISA calls and ran into the IVI New Session vi.

I have no experiece with IVI and LabVIEW.
