No, it's not difficult. But it helps to have an understanding of how ActiveX components usually are used.

To start this you could start Excel with a frsh workbook and open the VBA editor. Start to code some macros for Excel. That way you will learn to automate Excel and it will be much easier to adapt this to LabVIEW…
