Dear all;
I am looking for 'wayne kerr : precision component analyzer 6425' driver for Labview.
does someone know where I can find it please? or is it diffcult to create this driver with labview utility ?
( I would like to command it by using the interface GPIB)
and I want to have an idea about its corresponding SCPI !!!

Hi za3im,
I found this product page for that device which lists it as having "GPIB (IEEE 488) Parallel I/O port, RS232C Serial data output port".

While I'm not overly familiar with that particular product, you should be able to use the standard 488.2 drivers for the GPIB interface assuming you are using a National Instruments PCI-GPIB card or USB-GPIB converter.

I used the Wayne Kerr 6425 in the early 90s and it is an excellent instrument. I do not believe any Labview drivers were available at the time, as we would have used them. And of course it is unlikely that drivers would be produced later for an old instrument.
Although your enquiry is very old, may I ask whether you managed to interface your instrument? Also, do you know of any supplier of a GPIB interface card for the WK6425?
