The shortcut keys do work in the block diagram. Try overlapping two vi icons.
I'm not sure what you want to do?

Various shortcut keys are available in the block diagram. The one you are specifically asking about in your images is more for moving comments (VIs, other decorations) to the front and back on the block diagram. It doesn't make sense to move your code forward and backward, because then you may end up hiding code. This will make your code virtually unreadable.

thank you guys, actually i want to move objects to a pane by using mouse (drag and drop to pane). there are more than one objects (as boxes). then when an object (box #1) which is clicked by mouse is active, the other objects are passive. so,i think maybe i can use shortcut keys as commands.
for example when i drag second box to same coordinates of the first box, it places on top of the first one. i dont want to stow objects. i want to put them side by side. sorry about mess!

Are you just trying to ask the same question you are asking in this thread? http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/front/m-p/1442088#M553462

You are referring to a thread that's almost 11 years old. A lot has changed with LabVIEW since then. As I noted in your original thread, you are using way too many loops and event structures, and you can simply use the Disabled property to make controls "passive". Please continue the discussion in your original thread.
