using "get image"/"get panel" invoke nodes with activeX containers

hi,

I am trying to grab an image from an ActiveX component (displaying images from a networked web-cam) but when I come to view them (either by saving first or using a picture box) only the label of the container is displayed.
What is going on?! If I use Print Screen it correctly grabs the image. Also, the image in the container is only updated every few seconds so it is unlikely that it the image is being redrawn when the grab takes place.

I am attaching a VI that takes an image of its front panel and saves it to a file. The front panel contains an ActiveX container. Inside the container is the Microsoft Office Spreadsheet object. When I run the VI, the saved image does contain an image of the spreadsheet object. So, its possible that your issue may be specifically related to your ActiveX object. For example, the picture controls can only handle a color depth up to 24 bit. There might be a problem if your webcam supports a higher color depth.
