use a resultant array string that is also editable

Hello,

I have a vi that takes a string and parses it to a string array. I
wanted to know how I can go about adding another colum that lists the
address (in Hex) of the rows.

Also, I wanted to use the resultant data array string and edit the
individual row for a process later on.

What do you mean by "address (in hex)". Just the position in the original string, maybe?

The rest of the question is equally confusing. Can you be a bit more specific?
