usb to serial Trpp lite

Hi

I have a usb to serial converter, when i use it on hyperterminal it works perfect, the thing is when i tried to use via labview, it seems labview does not recognize that a COM is enabled or something, i installed drivers for the device but nothing changed

can anybody help me out with this?

the model of the usb to serial adapter is Tripp Lite keyspan model usa19ha

The com port must be listed in MAX before LabVIEW can use it. You must have NI-VISA installed for MAX to recognize it.
