usb 6008 control temperatura

i have a USB-6008 DAQ, and i need to now if i can take the voltaje readings with it, directly from the thermocouple (with compensation cables), and use labview to transform this voltage into a temperature data wich i will later use in a furnace control.

Hello cherrafito,

You can do this very easily with LabVIEW and NI-DAQmx.  If you set up an analog input temperature task, the DAQmx driver will acquire the voltage from your 6008 and automatically scale those voltages to temperature values based on what type of thermocouple you are using.  Please take a look at the shipping examples in LabVIEW.  Click on Help >> Find Examples...  In the Example Finder, browse to Hardware Input & Output >> DAQmx >> Analog Measurements >> Temperature.

Any of the Thermocouple examples should work for you.  Let me know if you have any further questions.
