I still say the best bet is to contact the original author or the lab where he wrote all this. Most likely the code is still around. It is NOT a reasonable suggestion to reverse engineer such a complex project. What a gigantic waste of time and it is very unlikely that it will work because many things may not be visible in code pictures alone.
Do you even have exactly the same hardware?
If you cannot find these tools in the sound/vibration palettes, maybe it is not installed right. Did you install all the RT and FPGA stuff first? Do you have the right bitness?
